Heather started her career in veterinary medicine in 2020 and was awarded her veterinary technician license two years later. She has worked in general practice and emergency medicine, but quickly realized her passion for surgery and anesthesia. Her goal is to provide all animals with the highest quality of care possible, and she is excited to have the opportunity to achieve this at VSS.

Heather and her family are new to the Spokane area, having moved from West Virginia in June of 2023. She lives with her husband, two teenage boys, three cats (Loki, Ody, and Taco), a ball python (Bellatrix), and two fire-belly toads.
